FREMONT (AP) – Hurt by a cut in state funding, the Rutherford B. Hayes Presidential Center will close on
Mondays and raise admission prices.
Employees also will take a 10 percent pay cut and work four days a week.
State aid was cut from $452,500 to $281,000.
The museum will close Mondays starting in September. Standard admission for the Hayes House and the Hayes
Museum will go up from $6 to $7.50, while a joint ticket for both will go up from $10.50 to $13.FREMONT
