Ohio Northern University
Ohio Northern University in Ada held commencement ceremonies in May.
Alexander Fowler, Bowling Green, received the degree of juris doctor from the Pettit College of Law.
Bradford Barber, Bowling Green, earned a bachelor of science in civil engineering. He was active in the
student chapter of the American Society of Civil Engineers.
Bradley Crouch, Luckey, graduated with distinction with a bachelor of science in chemistry. He
participated in the Gaming Society and the American Chemical Society.
Loudan Hammersmith, Bowling Green, earned a bachelor of science in accounting. On campus, he was active
in the Institute of Management Accountants, and the men’s basketball team.
Heidi Huber, Bowling Green, received a bachelor of science in nursing. She was active in the Health and
Physical Education Club, the women’s soccer team, and Kappa Alpha Theta social fraternity for women.
James O’Brien, Bradner, earned a bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering. While at ONU, he
was active in the men’s indoor and outdoor track teams, and the men’s cross country team.
Jillan Renollet, Bradner, received a bachelor of science in biology. On campus, she was active in the
Professional Association of Women in Science, the Society of Medical Professions, the Fellowship of
Christian Athletes, Habitat for Humanity, Northern Christian Fellowship, and the Student Planning
Committee.
Melissa Wilhelm, Custar, graduated with a bachelor of science in forensic biology. She was active in Beta
Beta Beta biology honorary and Habitat for Humanity.
Excelsior College
Wendy Steusloff, Perrysburg, has earned an associate of science degree in nursing from Excelsior College
in Albany, N.Y.
Ohio State University
The list of students who graduated in March from Ohio State University includes several from Wood County.

Bowling Green residents included Joshua Cole, bachelor of arts, magna cum laude; Matthew Critton,
bachelor of arts in journalism; Katherine Everett, master of arts; Eric Hoover, bachelor of arts; and
Roger Pruger, master of business.
Also graduating were Allison Lepiarz, Rossford, bachelor of fine arts, cum laude; and Cynthia Miller,
bachelor of arts.
Graduates from Perrysburg included Kirk Fissel, bachelor of arts; Michael Jender, bachelor of science in
electrical and computer engineering, cum laude; Brittany Ream, bachelor of science in human ecology,
with distinction, and a BS in human ecology, magna cum laude; and Stephanie Seminew, bachelor of arts,
cum laude.
Ohio University
Andrew Vroman, Bowling Green, and Sara Glamm, North Baltimore, were among the students who graduated from
Ohio University at winter commencement.
Vroman earned a bachelor of science in sport sciences, and Glamm earned a bachelor of science in
education.
Skidmore College
Hannah Kasperzak, Perrysburg, received a bachelor of arts degree, cum laude, in May from Skidmore
College, Saratoga Springs, N.Y.
Mount Union College
Eric Wansitler, Portage, has graduated with a bachelor of science degree in computer science from Mount
Union College, Alliance.
Commencement was in May.
