Cuts on agenda for BG park brd.
Bowling Green’s Board of Parks and Recreation will be discussing proposed cuts for its 2010 budget at
Tuesday night’s meeting.
The board will meet at 7 in Needle Hall at City Park. The location is intended to give board members a
chance to see improvements to that facility, a remnant of the old Wood County Fairgrounds.
Fight nets arrest
JERRY CITY – A Jerry City man is in jail after a man he fought ended up in the hospital.
Deputies from the Wood County Sheriff’s Office arrested Aaron L. Nessler, 20, Wednesday on an assault
charge after speaking with a male who was taken to Wood County Hospital with reported fresh injuries
from a fight. The injured male told the deputy that the fight resulted after an argument began to
Nessler was later located by deputies and lodged at the jail.
Mural project Friday at library
Families can drop into the Wood Country District Public Library Children’s Place Friday any time between
10:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. for some mural-making fun.
As part of this year’s Summer Reading Program, experience the collage fun of mosaic art and the freedom
of (structured) graffiti.
