Robert Cameron Brown, age 57, beloved son, brother, uncle and friend, passed away unexpectedly on July
19, 2009.
Bob was the son of Robert E. and Cleva "Tody" Brown. He lived on Wynn Road in Oregon and worked
for many years at both the Berdan Avenue and Talmadge Road workshops. He was a member of Christ United
Methodist Church in Oregon, Ohio.
Bob leaves behind his mother and siblings, Timothy and Jan Brown, Susan and Bob Hansbarger, David and Liz
Brown and Matthew as well as 11 nieces and nephews and one great-nephew.
Being the oldest Bob welcomed each of the babies of his family with great joy. Bob was a totally loving
family man and treasured their times together.
Bob never met a person, dog or horse he didn’t immediately care for. He had an amazing impact on everyone
he met. His life greatly influenced the involvement of Bob’s friends and family in the field of
developmental disabilities.
Friends and family may call Saturday, July 25, 2009 from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 12 noon at
Hope United Methodist Church in Whitehouse, Ohio. Pastor Tom Hoover will officiate. Interment will
follow at Whitehouse Cemetery.
The family wishes to thank the staff of Community Residential Services, the staff of the sheltered
workshop, Lucas County Board of MR/DD and the Oregon EMS and police department for their loving car of
our Bob.
