Ruth A. Lahey, 93, of Bowling Green, died on Friday, July 17, 2009, at Bowling Green Manor.
She was born July 4, 1916 in North Baltimore to Eugene and Pearl (Cupp) Hampshire. She married William
Carroll Lahey on December 8, 1935 and he preceded her in death on May 15, 1986.
Mrs. Lahey was a former Gray Lady at Wood County Hospital.
Surviving are two daughters, Pat Bressler of Weston and Margaret Luce of Toledo; one son, William E.
Lahey of St. Louis, Mo. She also leaves to mourn her passing, 10 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren
and one great-great-grandchild.
There will be a Mass of the Resurrection on Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. at St. Aloysius Church. Father Mark
Davis will officiate.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until service time at the church. Burial is at Restlawn Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be given to the Wood County Human Society or Disabled Veterans.
