Mobile food pantry open in Walbridge
WALBRIDGE – The mobile food pantry will be at fire station 1, 4505 Walbridge Road, from 5 to 7 p.m.
Monday.
The food is free and open to all Lake Township residents, including those in Walbridge, Millbury and
Moline.
A representative from Hannah’s Socks will again be there to pass out socks for all ages.
Port authority meets Monday
LIME CITY – The Northern Wood County Port Authority will meet Monday at 8 a.m. in the Perrysburg Township
Hall, 26609 Lime City Road.
Blue-star banners for military available
Monday’s Sentinel-Tribune featured a story on the American Legion Riders of Ohio delivering blue-star
banners to Bowling Green and Cygnet couples.
Perry Marvin, director of the American Legion Riders of Ohio, West Unity Post 669, welcomes contacts from
parents who have a son or daughter currently serving in the military and want a blue-star banner to hang
in their home.

See museum grounds in the evening
As part of the on-going celebration of the 140th anniversary of the opening the County Home, a guided
tour of the Infirmary grounds will be held Wednesday at 7 p.m. at the Wood County Historical Museum.
The tour includes the newly restored hog barn, the infirmary’s cemetery, icehouse, herb garden, asylum
and pole barn.
Vintage baseball game is Sunday
Meet the Infirmary Inmates at the Bowling Green Summer Bash downtown on Sunday, then follow them out to
Wintergarden Park for a game.
The bash, which is part of the welcome events for the Family Motor Coach Association Convention, is
Sunday from noon to 5 p.m. on North Main Street. The vintage baseball game vs. BG Senators will be at 5
p.m. at Wintergarden Park.
