The weekly meeting of the Bowling Green Kiwanis Club will be held at noon this Thursday at the Wood
County Historical Center and Museum on County Home Road.
Members of the club will eat on the restored porch of the museum, hear from museum director Christie
Raber, and will tour the renovated hog barn that is now part of the museum.
The former County Home has been home to the museum since 1975.
Motorized agriculture equipment from both the pre- and post-World War II eras are displayed in the
renovated hog barn. Horse-drawn equipment has been displayed at the museum for many years.
Raber has served as the director of the museum for the past six years. A native of Wyandot County, she
was the director of the Wyandot County Museum prior to coming to Bowling Green.
