St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, 315 S. College Drive, will hold its annual "Tent Weekend" this
weekend. Organizers are planning what is referred to as a "spirit and fun-filled weekend of
worship, music and fellowship."
Festivities will begin with a 5 p.m. service on Saturday followed by a fellowship meal. The Bowling Green
Community Band will perform at 7 p.m.
On Sunday there will be a traditional worship service at 8:30 a.m. in the worship center.
Events return to the tent with the 10 a.m. "Dixieland" service featuring Ragtime Rick’s
Dixieland Band.
A picnic lunch will follow the worship service.
