Tracy on IL all-star team
Andy Tracy, a standout at Bowling Green High School and Bowling Green State University, has been named to
the International League all-star team.
Tracy, 35, is playing this season with the Lehigh Valley IronPigs. He was also an IL all-star in 2000
For the season he is hitting .253 with 14 home runs, 55 RBI, 32 extra-base hits and 48 runs scored. Tracy
is second in the IL in home runs, RBI and extra-base hits.
Tracy had a strong June, hitting .302 with six home runs, 24 RBI, 25 runs scored, 10 doubles and 18
walks.
The International League all-stars face the Pacific Coast League’s best in the 22nd annual Triple-A
All-Star Game on July 15 in Portland, Ore.
Reimold has hit, stolen base
ANAHEIM, Calif. – Nolan Reimold, from Bowling Green State University, was 1-for-4 with a run scored and
his first Major League stolen base for Baltimore Thursday in the Orioles’ 5-2 loss to the Los Angeles
Angels.
In 44 games with the Orioles, Reimold is hitting .287.
3-on-3 soccer tourney set
LUCKEY – Eastwood High School is hosting a 3-on-3 soccer tournaments for boys and girls kindergarten
through the eighth grade July 9-10 at the high school soccer field.
The cost is $25 for a four-player team. Teams can register by calling (419) 349-6710.
Forms and payment must be completed by a parent prior to tournament play.
