Four public hearings are on the agenda for Wednesday night’s meeting of Bowling Green’s Planning
Commission.
¥ An S-district site plan for four rooming houses on the north side of Fourth Street at the intersection
of South College Drive. Kelen Properties is the petitioner. The item was tabled at the June meeting.
¥ Rezoning of approximately 0.100 of an acre behind 507 Harvest Lane from M-1, light industrial, to R-2,
single-family residential. Joanne Navin is the petitioner.
¥ An ordinance revision regarding electronic message boards.
¥ An ordinance revision regarding the requirement for financial guarantee for work in the public
right-of-way.
The commission will also consider preliminary plan extensions for the Bentwood and Newton Landing
subdivisions.
Two new ordinance revisions will be proposed, one regarding a fee increase for S-district site plan
requests and the second concerning agricultural animals. Both will likely be set for public hearings at
the commission’s Aug. 5 meeting.
The commission meets at 7:30 p.m. in the City Administrative Services Building, 304 N. Church St.
