Master Alpha Zeta
Six members of the chapter met June 18 at the home of Marilyn Glenn. Each answered roll call by stating
something exciting that they had done since the previous meeting.
A thank you was read from Rebecca Joseph, recipient of the Wilma Johnson Kidd Nursing Scholarship. Maxine
Miller thanked the members on behalf of Martha’s Kitchen for money given to them.
President Colleen Smith reported that the yardstick was completed by the executive board.
Glen announced the summer picnic will be held at the home of Nancy and Larry Germann on July 11 at 6 p.m.
Each member will provide a dish. Mary Ann Book will present the program Friendship at the picnic.
Some changes were made to committee duties and chapter by-laws. These changes will be reflected in the
program books for the coming year, which will be composed during the summer by the program committee.

Glenn gave the program and showed scrapbooks of her trips to Florida, Toronto and the Dominican Republic.
She also served dessert to the group.
The next official meeting will be Beginning Day. It will be held in September at the home of President
Smith.
