BG Swim Club loses conference meet

DEFIANCE – The Defiance/Ayersville Swim Club defeated Bowling Green, 479-376 in a Greater Northwest Ohio
Aquatic Conference meet.
Jordan Breitigam and Hannah Keiser led the Gators each winning five individual events while Trae Gulgin
won four.
Breitigam, 15-and-over boys, won the 100 (54.74), 200 (2:01.71) and 500 (5:25.82) freestyles, 100
butterfly (1:00.22) and 100 backstroke (1:03.53).
Keiser, 11-13 girls, won the 200 freestyle (2:21.77), 100 individual medley (1:15.90), 50 butterfly
(33.95), 50 backstroke (36.04) and 50 breast stroke (39.97).
Gulgin, 11-12 boys, won the 50 freestyle (31.98), 100 individual medley (1:31.56), 50 butterfly (43.75)
and 50 breast stroke (47.16).
Winners of three individual events for BG were: Paul Glassford, 50 butterfly (49.76), 50 backstroke
(52.77) and 50 breast stroke (1:00.75); Justin Hatch, 15-and-over boys, 50 freestyle (25.66), 200
individual medley (2:27.05) and 100 breast stroke (1:18.03); and Devon Keiser, 13-14 boys, 50 (27.18)
and 100 (1:02.43) freestyles, and 100 backstroke (1:10.40).
Winning two individual events for BG were: Jacob Burk, 13-14 boys, 200 freestyle (2:15.18) and 200
individual medley (2:41.12); Anne Glassford, 8-and-under girls, 25 freestyle (23.44) and 25 backstroke
(28.80).
Winning one individual event for the Gators were: Aaron Fleming, 50 freestyle (1:15.61); Grace Hakel,
13-14 boys, 100 butterfly (1:37.29); Spencer Rogers, 11-12 boys, 200 freestyle (3:00.09); and Kayla
Schrader, 9-10 girls, 50 butterfly (1:04.61).
