Local girls elected at Girls State

Wood County girls were a part of Buckeye Girls State, held last week on the campus of Ashland University.

Allison Luttrell, city councilman, Grand Rapids.
Julie Chambers, director of law, Luckey.
Miranda Link, municipal judge, Perrysburg.
Emalee Kernisan, mayor, Rudolph.
Jennifer Antieau, director of law, Bowling Green.
Alyssa Hales, page, house of representatives, Bowling Green.
Mallory Fritz, county board of elections, Pemberville.
Amanda Vogel, city fire chief, Perrysburg.
Elizabeth Myerholtz, legislative director, Bowling Green.
Lindsey Heller, city engineer, Bloomdale.
Bethany Flage, LSC member, Wayne.
Kaitlyn Schied, city board of health, Pemberville. Chelci Hurley, appellate counsel, Perrysburg.
Rachel Rine, state senator, Bowling Green.
Over 900 high school junior girls attended. Girls State is educates the girls in city, county and state
government.
