Durham tops Mud Hens

TOLEDO – Toledo scored twice in the first inning but did not score again in its 4-2 loss to Durham
Wednesday in the International League. The Mud Hens are 32-39.
Mud Hens’ starter Chris Lambert pitched well, allowing two earned runs on five hits with 10 strikeouts
and one walk in seven innings of work for a no-decision. Reliever Matt Rusch took the loss, allowing two
earned runs on three hits in two innings.
Toledo had six hits in the game, with leadoff hitter Scott Sizemore finishing 2-for-5 with a run scored
and Jeff larish finishing 1-for-3 with an RBI.
