PEMBERVILLE — A car fire near apartment units behind the Edgewood Inn resulted in three fire departments
being called early Thursday morning.
The fire was reported about 5:15. The vehicle reportedly rolled closer to the living units while burning
and caused some damage to the structure.
Fire units from Pemberville, Wayne and Bradner were called to the scene.
The Edgewood is located in the 5000 block of U.S. 6 on the cruve between where Ohio 199 joins Route 6
from the north and then breaks off to the south.
No injuries were reported. Most units had cleared the scene by 7 a.m.
