Lindsay Queen and Christopher John Malanowski exchanged wedding vows June 6 at Plain Congregational
Church, Bowling Green.
Pastor Dan Vellinga conducted the 3:30 p.m. ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Steve and Connie Queen, Wapakoneta Road, Grand Rapids. The groom is the son
of Jeff and Martha Malanowski, Cross Lanes, W.Va.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore an off-white satin gown with a halter style neckline, a
beaded chantilly lace overlay and train. She chose a jeweled tiara headpiece.
The flower girl was Alyssa Rose Malanowski, 3-year-old daughter of the groom. She wore a sleeveless dress
of off-white satin with a pink floral lace overlay.
Melva Powers was organist for the ceremony.
A reception was held at the Junior Fair Building in Bowling Green with music furnished by Rusty Sheeks of
Tonight’s Entertainment.
The couple plan a delayed honeymoon trip to Florida. They will make their home at 23660 U.S. 6, Grand
Rapids.
The bride graduated from high school in 2003 and earned a bachelor’s degree in human development and
family studies from Bowling Green State University in 2008. She is currently employed as a sales
associate.
The groom graduated from Nitro High School in West Virginia in 1999, and from Purdue University in 2004
with a bachelor’s degree in material science engineering. He is employed at Brush Wellman, Elmore.
