Bob and Winnie Rex, Bowling Green, and Steve and Marge Mizer, Sylvania, announce the engagement of their
son and daughter, Justin Rex and Marissa Mizer.
The bride-to-be graduated from Sylvania Southview High School in 2003 and from Bowling Green State
University in 2007 with a
B.S. in Early Childhood Education. She earned a master’s degree in school guidance and counseling from
Ohio University in 2009 and is currently looking for a teaching job.
Rex graduated from Bowling Green High School in 2003 and received a B.S. degree in political science and
sociology from BGSU in 2008. He is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in political science at Wayne State
University in Detroit.
They are planning an Aug. 8 wedding at St. Joseph Parish, Sylvania.
