Workshop helps women meet money challenges


Ohio Treasurer Kevin L. Boyce’s Smart Money Choices Tour will arrive in Wood County June 26. The
conference, focusing on Women & Money, will provide participants with a variety of resources.

The day-long conference will be held at Owens Community College, 30335 Oregon Road, and will begin with
an opening session at 8 a.m., followed by workshops, lunch, and a guest motivational speaker.
"Today more than ever, women, like all Ohioans, are confronting tough economic challenges and
increasing stress and anxiety brought on by financial worries," Boyce said. "This conference
will give participants the tools to help them succeed in this economy."
Participants will have the opportunity to customize their experience by attending breakout sessions of
their choosing , covering topics such as credit and debt, retirement planning, insurance, investments,
home ownership, budgeting, stress to success, and kids & money.
