I would like to offer a view on the Portage situation that isn’t really being talked about. I have seen
numerous articles about how they want to fight to keep the stoplight and the ridiculously low speed
limit. Portage is known as a speed trap for a reason, they unfairly target people.
They should fully comply with ODOT orders and stop going on local TV making themselves look foolish.
I encourage you to voice your opinion because I think a lot of people agree with me and would like to
drive through Portage not around it!
The sheriff said on the news that they can patrol Portage just fine like they do in other local towns
with a lot more going on in them than Portage.
