‘Plane Fun’ this weekend at Metcalf

MILLBURY – "Plane Fun 2009" will be held Saturday and Sunday at Metcalf Airport in Lake
Township.
Aircraft will be on display both days. There will be airplane rides. Helicopters, old fighter planes and
experimental planes will also be featured at the annual event.
Admission is $5 per person. Children 7 and younger are admitted free.
The Yankee Air Museum’s B-17 bomber will be on display and selling rides.
Also scheduled to be on display are an Air Force C-130, North American AT-6, Navy N3N biplane, stunt
planes, kit planes and experimental aircraft, as well as antique aircraft.
There also will be remote controlled cars and planes, hot air balloons, helicopters and radial engine
museum.
Free aircraft rides will be given to children ages 8-17 through the National EAA’s Young Eagles Program.
The children can earn a Young Eagles certificate by taking a ride.
Food will be available both days from Cafe 582.
