Jacksonville State University
Josh Tillman, a 2006 graduate of Bowling Green High School, is on the dean’s list at Jacksonville (Ala.)
State University for spring semester.
A student must earn a 3.5 grade point average or better to make the list.
Tillman is majoring in criminal justice, with minors in accounting and homeland security. He also is a
member of Delta Chi fraternity.
Lourdes College
Lourdes College in Sylvania has announced that 35 Wood County residents are among the 509 who achieved
either the dean’s list or honors list for the spring semester.
The dean’s list recognizes full-time students with an overall grade point average of 3.5 or higher.
Making the list were Stefanie Beam, Perrysburg; Wendy Christoff, Millbury; Chester Engle, Perrysburg;
Amy Gilles, Perrysburg; Christina Harris, Northwood; Shari Laviolette, Northwood; Jeni Mills, Bowling
Green; Lynn Recktenwald, Perrysburg; LeeAnn Roberts, Pemberville; Pamela Rudolph, Walbridge; Denise
Russell, Perrysburg; Heather Shaw, Rossford; Erica Shomody, Perrysburg; Josette Snyder, Millbury;
Elizabeth Wallace, Perrysburg; and Loren Weiss, Grand Rapids.
The honors list recognizes part-time students taking between six and 11 credit hours in a semester and
achieving an overall grade point average of 3.5 or higher. Included on that list were Diana
Bacher-Mikaelian, Perrysburg; Angela Bauman, Bowling Green; David Beaverson, Perrysburg; Rebecca Bialy,
Perrysburg; Charles Broshious, Perrysburg; Michele Brown, Rossford; Jennifer Carroll, Rossford; Lydia
Davis, Bowling Green; Jennifer Dykes, Perrysburg; Laura Kovacik, Rossford; Ernest Marsteller Perrysburg;
Ashley McGannon, Perrysburg; Molly Miller, Northwood; Chandra Reinhart, Walbridge; Lynne Sawyer,
Perrysburg; Jodi Spade, Grand Rapids; Dana Stocki, Walbridge; Andrea Taylor, Northwood; and Nicole
Wright, Rossford.
Savannah College of Art and Design
Andrea Abraham and Laura Thomas, both of Bowling Green, were named to the dean’s list at the Savannah
(Ga.) College of Art and Design for winter quarter. The list honors full-time undergraduate students who
earned at last a 3.5 grade point average for the quarter.
Both students are working toward a bachelor of fine arts degree from the School of Design.
Coastal Carolina University
Jennifer Kisabeth, Bowling Green, was named to the president’s list for spring semester at Coastal
Carolina University in Conway, S.C.
To qualify, she had to earn a 4.0 grade point average.
Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute
Michael Sanderson, Bowling Green, made the dean’s list at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, N.Y.,
for the spring semester.
Sanderson is a senior studying electrical engineering.
Ashland University
Elisha Dierker, Pemberville, and Zachary Smith, Perrysburg, made the dean’s list for spring semester at
Ashland University. To be eligible, they had to achieve at least a 3.5 grade point average for full-time
work.
Dierker is a senior majoring in speech and religion.
Smith is a graduating senior majoring in business management.
Olivet College
A total of 268 students have been named to the Olivet (Mich.) College spring semester dean’s list. To
make the list, a student must be full-time and earn a grade point average of 3.5 or higher.
Local honorees include Brian Jaffee and Samuel Jaffee, both of Bowling Green.
