Charlotte Elizabeth Bickmyer Hopple, 71, of Findlay, died Thursday (June 11, 2009).
She retired from Norbalt Rubber in North Baltimore.
Mrs. Hopple enjoyed camping, fishing and sewing.
Born Aug. 9, 1937 in Wood County, to George Fredrick and Frances (Eninger) Bickmyer, she married Cloyd A.
Hopple on Sept. 25, 1954. He died Aug. 14, 1996.
She also was preceded in death by a daughter, Suzanna Lynn Hopple; a foster son, Charles Fredrick
Spencer; two sisters, Anna Heishman and Ethel Sorg; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Surviving are two sons, Cloyd "Fred," of Findlay, and William "Bill," Jerry City; a
daughter, Chyrel "Cookie" Hopple of Van Buren; a brother, William Bickmyer, and a sister, Mary
Guthrie, both of Findlay; 15 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Smith-Crates Funeral Home, North Baltimore. Burial will
follow at Ten Mile Cemetery/Bethel Cemetery.
Visitation is Monday, beginning at noon.
