The 96th annual reunion of the Goetz family was held June 7 at the Hickory Shelter, Meadowbrook Park,
Bascom. Coming to the event from Wood County were Larry and Patricia Goetz of Wayne.
President Harvey Staib of Tiffin led the business meeting, with 64 in attendance. Among officers elected
for the following year are President Sam Spitler of Tiffin and Vice President Larry Goetz of Wayne.
The first Goetz reunion was held in 1914 at the home of Adam Goetz and his 12 children, near Melmore.
