Graves to transfer
Bowling Green men’s basketball coach Louis Orr has announced that Adrion Graves has transferred to
University of the Cumberlands in Williamsburg, Ky., an NAIA school.
Graves sat out the 2008-09 season at Bowling Green after transferring from Xavier, where he played two
seasons. A 6-foot-4 guard, Graves played high school basketball at Cincinnati Hughes Center.
Graves played in 13 games in 2006-07 for Xavier and in 34 games in 2007-08, averaging 8.1 minutes, 1.9
points and 1.0 rebounds per game.
Reimold hits homer
BALTIMORE – Nolan Reimold, from Bowling Green State University, hit his seventh home run of the season
for the Baltimore Orioles in a 3-1 win over Seattle Tuesday.
The home run and an RBI single now give Reimold 16 RBI and he is hitting .295 in 23 games.
BGSU volleyball recruiting class honored
PrepVolleyball.com has named the Bowling Green Falcon recruiting class as a high honorable mention group
in its yearly report of the top incoming freshman classes – one of only two Mid-American Conference
schools to receive a ranking that high.
The class consists of Cassie Berning (6-0, outside hitter, Tipp City), Kari Galen (6-2, middle blocker,
Aurora, Ill.), and Allison Kearney (5-8, Setter, Wooster).
PrepVolleyball.com ranks the Division I recruiting classes in three categories, picking the top 30 and
then choosing the next 15 teams as highest honorable mention. The next 30 are picked as high honorable
mention, which is where Bowling Green and Western Michigan were placed. The rankings were created by a
panel of collegiate coaches from across the country, representing every major conference. The panel
judges based on the cumulative impact the class could make in four-five years at each school.
Nystrom named GA at Delaware
NEWARK, DEL. – Drew Nystrom, a former Bowling Green Falcon, has been named a graduate assistant football
coach at the University of Delaware.
He earned his degree in biology in December 2007 and served as a tight ends and offensive line assistant
coach at Wabash College. in Crawfordsville, Ind., this past fall.
Nystrom will pursue a master’s degree in higher education administration at Delaware.
Falcons to host hockey school
The Bowling Green Falcon hockey school will host its Falcon Hockey School July 26-30 in the Ice Arena.

The cost is $275 for skaters and $250 goalies.
The day camp will be split into two groups – the Red Wings, players with a birth date between 1998 and
2001, and the Blue Jackets, players with a birth date between 1995 and 1997.
