Wood County library knitting group to meet

Knitting for Neighbors, a knitting group at the Wood County District Public Library, 251 N. Main, Bowling
Green, will be meeting monthly on Tuesdays.
The group’s next meeting is scheduled for June 16 at 7 p.m. at in the library’s first floor meeting room.

New members and knitters of all levels are welcome to join the group. Bring something to knit, while
everyone chats.
Suggested projects include slippers, socks, scarves, blankets, hats in adult and child sizes. Handmade
items should be made with easy care yarn. Completed projects may be dropped off at the library to be
donated to Bowling Green High School’s Dear Santa project.
Knitting for Neighbors began as a service project as part of Community Reads 2008 under the name Knitting
for Peace.
