Emalee Kernisan – Buckeye Girls State delegate

Emalee Kernisan has been selected as a Buckeye Girls State delegate by Norcross-Meyers Legion Auxiliary
Unit 305, Custar.
She will be a senior at Bowling Green High School and is the daughter of John and Marijane Adler Pitman
and the late Thierry Kernisan.
She is a member of the National Honor Society, National Society of High School Scholars, Key Club, BGHS
Leadership, Madrigal Singers and concert choir. She is the secretary of BGHS Student Activities Board
and Klassy Kids 4-H Club.
She volunteers with various organizations in the area and is an active member of St. Louis Catholic
Church, Custar.
Albert Bowe 338 American Legion Auxiliary of Bradner has selected three Elmwood High School students to
attend Buckeye Girls State, which is Sunday through June 20 at Ashland University.
 
 
 
 
Bethany Flage, Wayne, is the daughter of Bob and Juliann Flage. She is involved in National Honor
Society, Spanish and art clubs, Student Council and Royal Troubadours. Her sports include volleyball and
track.
She is a member of Pointman Youth Ministry.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
Lindsey Heller of Bloomdale is the daughter of Raelene Henson and Eric Heller. She is involved in
National Honor Society, FFA, Spanish and magic clubs, varsity basketball, softball, band and the

Katherine Buckingham of Bloomdale is the daughter of Jennifer and Robin Buckingham. She is involved in
National Honor Society, newspaper and Spanish and art clubs.
