John and Joyce Burton, rural Wayne, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary at an open house on
Sunday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Wayne United Methodist Church.
They were married June 7, 1959 at the First Methodist Church in Gibsonburg.
The Burtons have four children, Marlene Graber, Bradner; Marilyn Noble, Haskins; John Jr., Wayne, and
Linda Strickland, Cygnet.
They also have 11 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
The couple request no gifts.
