OFU plans stewardship day at Otsego Park

The Ohio Farmers Union has planned a day camp with a theme of "Planet Stewardship."
It will be held July 14 at Otsego Stone Hall at Otsego Park, and is open to those in first through eighth
grades.
The camp Includes a tour of wind farm and recycling center.
Registration is at 10 a.m. with advance pre-registration required due to limited space availability.
The students may be picked up between 4:30 and 5 p.m.
The camp program is free and open to the general public as well as OFU young people.
Those attending will learn about living sustainably; reducing, reusing and recycling; conservation; and
efficiency.
Activities and games will also focus on renewable energy and lessons about where our food comes from.

Other day camps open to the public include an afternoon at YMCA on July 1 in Ottawa (limited to first 50
students); July 28 in Wilmington at the Clinton County Extension office; and July 23 at the Jefferson
Community Recreation Center in Jefferson, locatated in Ashtabula County.
