To all persons interested in the Estate of Deloris M. Gwinn, deceased, Wood County Probate Court, Case
No. 20091110. The fiduciary in the estate has filed an inventory and appraisal of her trust. A hearing
on the inventory and appraisal will be July 2, 2009, at 10:00 o’clock A.M. in the court. The court is
located on the second floor in the Wood County Courthouse, One Courthouse Square, Bowling Green, Ohio.

Any person desiring to file exceptions to said inventory must file them at least five days prior to the
day set for hearing.

BID

SEALED BIDS for the furnishing of the necessary materials and construction of the
RECOATING 400,000 GALLON ELEVATED
WATER STORAGE TANK
GRAND RAPIDS, OHIO
will be received by the Village of Grand Rapids, Ohio at the office of Village Administrator, 17460
Sycamore Road, PO Box 309, Grand Rapids, Ohio 43522 until
June 22nd, 2009 @ 11:00 am (Local
Time)

and at that time and place will be publicly opened and read aloud.
The scope of work consists of recoating a 400,000 gallon elevated water storage tank.
The contract documents, including plans and specifications, are on file at the office of the Village of
Grand Rapids, Ohio. A set may be obtained from the Village. A non-refundable deposit in the amount of
$50.00 will be required for each set of plans and specifications, check must be made payable to Grand
Rapids, Ohio.
All bids must be signed and submitted on the blanks which are bound in this booklet. Bids must state the
unit prices in the blanks provided and be enclosed in a sealed envelope marked —
RECOATING 400,000 GALLON ELEVATED WATER STORAGE TANK — and addressed to
the Village Administrator, PO Box 309, Grand Rapids, Ohio 43522.
A bid guaranty may be of two forms:
1. A Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond using the form in the Contract
Documents. (The amount of the bid does NOT have to appear on this form.)
2. A certified check, cashier‘s check or letter of credit in favor of the
Village of Grand Rapids, Ohio, in the amount of 10% of the bid. If the contract is awarded, a Contract
Bond will be required, which is a 100% payment and performance bond.
After the award of the contract let by competitive bid and prior to the time the contract is entered
into, bidders shall submit the affidavit required under the Ohio Revised Code, Section 5719.042 that the
bidder was not charged with any delinquent personal property taxes in Wood County, Ohio.
The successful bidder will be required to pay not less than the minimum wage rates established by the
Department of Industrial Relations of the State of Ohio.
The Village of Grand Rapids, Ohio reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any
irregularity in any bid and to determine the lowest and best bidder.
No bidder may withdraw his bid for a period of 60 days after the scheduled closing time for the receipt
of bids.
The estimate for the cost of construction is $80,000.

NOTICE

A public hearing is scheduled by the Troy Township Trustees for July 8, 2009 at 6:30 p.m. to be held at
the Troy Township Hall, 311 Krotzer Avenue, Luckey, Ohio 43443.
The purpose of the hearing will be to receive public comment and recommendations of the JEDD (Joint
Economic Development District) Agreement between Troy Township and the City of Toledo and the proposed
JEDD District which is approximately 460 acres located at Pemberville Road and Rt. 20 owned by Dominion
East Ohio.
As required by ORC 715.75, the JEDD Agreement will be available for inspection at 311 Krotzer Avenue,
Luckey, Ohio 43443 until July 8, 2009.

HEARING!

The Perrysburg Township Board of Zoning Appeals will hold a Public Hearing on Tuesday, June 16, 2009 at
6:00 PM at the Township Meeting Hall, 26609 Lime City Road, Perrysburg, Ohio to consider the following
requests for zoning Variances and Conditional Uses.

Saundra K. Young of 28981 Simmons Road has replaced her four (4) foot high three rail split rail fence
with a six (6) foot high privacy fence. This property is a corner lot that faces both Simmons and
Mandell Roads. Article V Section B3 states that “Corner lots — shall provide the minimum front yard
requirements on each street.” This lot has two (2) front yards and Article VII Section J1 states that
“Fences or hedges may not exceed four (4) feet in height in the required front yard.” The fence in the
front yard part of the property is two (2) feet too high.
