PERRYSBURG – A Perrysburg Township man was killed Wednesday when his vehicle ran into the back of a truck
stopped at a Perrysburg stoplight, according to a spokesman for the Perrysburg Police Department.
Richard Block, 62, of 10635 Ford Road, was westbound on Sandusky Street around 2:21 p.m., when he struck
the rear of a roll-off Dumpster truck stopped at East Boundary Street.
According to Perrysburg police, Block died at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center in Toledo.
The driver of the truck, Leslie Hall, was taken to St. Luke’s Hospital in Maumee by Perrysburg EMS. His
condition is unknown.
