The week of May 18th-May 22nd was the EMS Appreciation Week.
The staff of Wood County Hospital Emergency Room kicked off the celebration with a bike run and hog roast
fundraiser. Each day of the week, there was food and drink and prizes provided for the local and
surrounding area EMS and Firefighters.
We, the staff of the emergency room, would like to extend our thanks to all who participated in making
this celebration a big success. So, to all who worked tirelessly, cooked, served, donated food, money,
or prizes, or their time, thank you! To the EMS and firefighters: You do a great job, and you are very
much appreciated!
