Helen (Cymbola) Snyder, 82, of Liberty Center, died Tuesday (June 2, 2009) at her home.
She was a clerk at Surface Combustion in Toledo for several years.
Mrs. Snyder was a member of Hosanna Lutheran Church, Grand Rapids, and V.F.W. Auxiliary, Napoleon.
The 1944 graduate of Liberty Center High School enjoyed gardening.
A native of Liberty Center, she was born Aug. 11, 1926 to Vincent and Mary (Kracow) Cymbola. She married
Donald D. Snyder on Oct. 26, 1946, and he died April 25, 1981.
She also was preceded in death by three sisters and four brothers.
Surviving are a daughter, Lisa K. Patton; a brother, Ed Cymbola; and two sisters, Josephine Smith and
Stella Balog, all of Liberty Center.
The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Wright-Hobbs Funeral Home, Grand Rapids. Rev. Jerry Wirtley
will preside. Burial will follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Grand Rapids.
Visitation will be Thursday from 2 to 8 p.m.
Memorials are suggested to the Susan Komen Foundation for Breast Cancer Research.
