Perrysburg to host First Friday series downtown

PERRYSBURG – Perrysburg Main Street Inc., a designated Main Street program through the National Trust for
Historic Preservation and organized by Heritage Ohio, will kick off its "First Friday" summer
series this Friday in the historic downtown.
The event, which begins at 6 p.m., will feature horse and carriage rides, and music by a local radio
station with live remote broadcast. Entertainment will include magician Eli Martin and street performer
and juggler "Hatch."
There will be several family-oriented events, such as a kids bounce and competitive musical chairs with
prizes awarded in three age groups.
Local emergency service vehicles will be on display.
There will be no cost for participation, with the event being sponsored by the Taylor Automotive Group.

"Main Street Community" designations mean the city is dedicated to historic preservation of
downtown districts through: Organization, economic revitalization, promotion and design.
Anyone wanting further information may contact Michael Liebenthal at (419) 931-4170.
