PERRYSBURG – Howard A. Baumgartner Jr., 71, of Perrysburg, died Sunday (May 31, 2009) at his home.
He was a maintenance mechanic for Libbey Glass in Toledo for 32 years.
Mr. Baumgartner was member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, Stony Ridge
He enjoyed fishing and hunting.
Born April 26, 1938 in Toledo to Howard and Meldeane (Hughes) Baumgartner, he married Patsy J.
Bookenberger in Stony Ridge on May 2, 1959. She survives.
Also surviving are three sons, Ken and Steve, both of Woodville; and Dennis, Genoa; a brother, John, of
Curtice; three sisters, Barbara Thrasher, Oregon; Dorothy Wachowiak, Toledo; and Marge Burdett, of West
Virginia; and five grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church, followed by a bereavement luncheon.
Rev. Daniel Beaudoin will officiate. A graveside service will be held at Troy Township Cemetery, Luckey,
at 2 p.m.
Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the church.
Marsh Funeral Home, Luckey, is handling arrangements.
