TOLEDO – Dusty Ryan had three hits and four RBI and four Toledo pitchers combined on a shutout while
striking out 16 as the Mud Hens blanked Pawtucket, 8-0 in the International League Thursday. Toledo is
16-18.
Ryan was 3-for-3 with a double and a home run. Mike Hessman hit a two-run homer for the Mud Hens and Will
Rhymes was 2-for-4.
Ron Chiavacci, Pat Stanley, Fu-Te Ni and Freddy Dolsi pitched the shutout with Chiavacci striking out
seven in four innings.
