The BG Teen Central Youth Advisory Committee is looking for energetic and creative 11 to 14 year-old youth from Wood County who are interested in serving in an advisory and participatory capacity for Bowling Green Teen Central.
The teen must commit to:
• participating in regular meetings.
• designing and implementing events for their fellow teens.
• actualizing the plan.
• having permission from a parent/guardian.
• following through on the commitment to this project for one year.
The advisory committee will help facilitate planning for meetings, activities and work required.
The board will also provide educational materials to assist teens with their projects.
Meetings will be held weekly.
Return a completed application with a parent or guardian's signature to the Bowling Green Community Center Front Desk by Sept. 6.
Interviews will take place between Sept. 11-13.
The first meeting will be held on Sept. 19.
