See Santa at senior center
Bowling Green Parks and Recreation Department, Bowling Green Kiwanis Club and the Wood County Committee on Aging will hold the 17th Annual “Breakfast with Santa” Dec. 14 from 9 to 11 a.m. at the Wood County Senior Center, 305 N. Main St.
Participants will enjoy breakfast, story time presented by the library and an arts and crafts activity to put together while waiting to sit on Santa’s lap. Bring a camera for this great photo-opportunity.
This is a free program for children ages 5 and under but participants must register in advance with the Bowling Green Parks and Recreation Department, 419-354-6223, www.bgohio.org (parks and recreation).
Registration started Tuesday. Space is limited.
Turkey talk at parks program
A Pre-schoolers in the Parks program is set for Nov. 23 at Wood County District Park headquarters on Mercer Road.
The topic is turkeys, and it will be held from 10:30 to 11:15 a.m.
This is for children 3-6 years old. Participants will enjoy a short story and a craft.
Adult companions must remain with children for this program.
