Break It and Make It
Youth ages 10 and up are invited to the Children’s Place of the Wood County District Public Library for
another "Break It and Make It with Home Depot" on Saturday from 2 to 3 p.m.
This monthly hands-on program and partnership between the Children’s Place and Team Depot will
deconstruct, investigate and tinker with various gadgets. This Saturday, each person attending will get
hands-on tinkering fun with tape players and VHS tapes. All tools and safety equipment will be provided.

Library late-night is Saturday
Tweens and teens ages 11 and up can still register for Youth Community Reads Late-Night at the Wood
County District Public Library Saturday from 7 to 10 p.m. Space is limited.
This after-hours event was inspired by the novel "Escape from Mr. Lemoncello’s Library."

Legopalooza at the library
Families are invited to the monthly Legopalooza program at the Children’s Place of the Wood County
District Public Library Sunday from 2 to 3p.m.
The library staff will share its Lego collection along with books for creative ideas and stories. For

Learn to drive, chip, putt
Youth Golf Clinics will be held this summer at Dixie Driving Range on Ohio 25.
A clinic for girls ages 8 to 14 will be June 10, 12, 17 and 19. This is sponsored by the Bowling Green
Country Club Golferettes and is free to Bowling Green girls. Space is limited to 16 girls and
registration is required.
Clinic two is for ages 8 to 10 and will be held June 23, 27 and 30 and July 2.
Clinic three is for ages 10-12 and will be July 7, 9, 14 and 16.
The final clinic is for ages 13-16 and will be held July 8, 10, 15 and 17.
The cost of the clinics is $70.
The eighth annual Andy Open Youth Golf Tournament is Aug. 6. The cost is $10 for Bowling Green residents
and $13 for non-residents.
