Register now to compete in Wood County Youth Olympics
Registration is now open for the Wood County Prosecutor's 15th annual Wood County Youth Olympics to be held March 9 at Bowling Green State University's Perry Field House.
The event is open to all fourth and fifth grade students who reside in Wood County.
Students will participate in a variety of individual and team Olympic-style events that challenge their mental and physical strengths.
The free event is open to the first 530 registrations received.
Homeschool, public school and private school students are welcome to participate.
All participants receive a free T-shirt, lanyard, Burger King coupon, Youth Olympic memorabilia and the opportunity to win Olympic-type medals for first through third place finishes.

Daughters invited to dine and dance with their dads
A Daddy Daughter Dance will be held Feb. 22 from 5:30 to 8 p.m. at the Community Center.
Get dressed up and head over to the Community Center for some dinner, dessert, dancing, games and memories. A photo will be provided of each couple. Space is limited.
The dance is for girls ages 5-13. Cost is $40 for a resident couple, $43 for a non-resident couple and $10 for each additional daughter.
