PERRYSBURG – Perrysburg Schools will host the Northwest Ohio Art Education Association’s 35th annual
Youth Art Month Exhibition through April 15 at its board offices, 140 E. Indiana Ave.
The exhibit is free and open to the public Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., except when the
office is closed March 31 through April 4 for spring break. The exhibit is also sponsored by the Toledo
Museum of Art.
Every OAEA member in the seventeen counties of the northwest region may submit up to 8 entries, which
includes works from children in kindergarten through eighth grade. Ginger Bowerman Pacer, who teaches
art at Ft. Meigs Elementary School, is the coordinator for Youth Art Month.
"We are so proud to host NWOAEA’s Youth Art Month Exhibition," said Perrysburg Schools
Superintendent Thomas L. Hosler. "With the support of the Toledo Museum of Art, Mrs. Bowerman Pacer
has worked very hard to make this a premier exhibit for our entire region to come and enjoy. We are so
excited to see our halls covered with 176 works of art from 13 school districts."
