WBGU-TV Kids Extravaganza set for May 10

Join WBGU-TV and Ruby the Red-Eyed Tree Frog on May 10 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the 13th Annual WBGU-TV
Kids Extravaganza.
There will be a special appearance by Daniel Tiger from "Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood."
The public television station has hosted the event for the past 13 years as a way of thanking the
community for their support of the station.
Every year the event grows, as community businesses and service providers lend their time to make the day
a celebration for the children.
This year, Mazza Children’s Museum, the Bowling Green police and fire divisions, the Wood County District
Public Library and the Wood County Park District are just a few of the many returning groups.
Admission to the event is free, including some of the activities like story time, exploring fire trucks
and police cars, a puppet show and learning about animals.
The concessions and some of the activities will require tickets that can be purchased for a nominal
price.
Members of Ruby’s Kids Club will receive complimentary tickets for all activities in advance.
