PERRYSBURG - Children's music and art classes are being offered at the 577 Foundation at 577 E. Front St. Pre-registration is required for all classes at www.577foundation.org or (419) 874-4174.
• Partners in Fun is an art project class for 3 to 4 year olds with an adult.  The leader is Carol Jambard-Sweet and the limit is 14 per class.
The classes are Tuesdays from 10 to 11 a.m. The fee is $5 per child.
During Tuesday's program, make a soft and cuddly animal - and one that's not. Look for leprechauns on March 12. Go to the farm and find some animals on March 19. Easter means bunnies, eggs and fun for the March 26 program.
• Drawing fun with Mr. Picasso is for children in grades two through seven.
Local artist Roy Wilson, as Mr. Picasso, will help youth develop drawing and compositional skills. His step-by-step method is accessible and challenging to all levels.
Explore nature and cartooning themes. Bring a No. 2 pencil, eraser and 12x18 drawing pad.
Classes are Fridays, March 15, 22 and 29; April 5, 12, 19 and 26, and May 3, 10 and 17, from 3:55 to 5 p.m.
The class limit is 20. The fee is $50.
• Musical Jamboree is for 2 to 4 year olds with an adult.
Make music in this class designed for preschoolers. The group will dance, play games, sing, listen to stories and use toy musical instruments to make music. Take home a cluster of ribbons and a CD of songs.
The leader is Elaine Sneider. Class limit is12.
Classes are 10 to 10:45 a.m. Mondays, March 18 and 25; April 1, 8, 15, 22 and 29, and May 6. The fee is $58 per child.
• A beginner Native American flute class will be held Saturday from 10 a.m. to noon.
This class includes ownership of a hand-crafted 6-hole cedar Native American styled flute, basic instruction, handouts including fingering chart, an original and traditional song to play.
The leader is David Rogers and class is limited to 10. The fee is $40. The class is geared toward third-graders and older.
• An intermediate Native American flute class for third-graders through adults will be held Saturday from 1 to 3 p.m. Continue to develop the ability to play the Native American flute in this class.
It includes review of performance basics, ideas for greater creativity, guide to reading music and Nakai Tablature, embellishments, vibrato, special effects and forms of articulation.
Bring a  five or six-hole Native American flute. Participants must be able to play the Native American flute's natural scale
Rogers is the leader and class is limited to 10. The fee is $40.
