From Lake High School, Jayna Kubuske, who is now a Kentucky Sweetheart majorette twirling in her freshman year at the University of Kentucky, was a features twirler for all four years she attended Lake High School. Two Perrysburg High School twirlers just won the title of "National High School Majorettes", the first in the school's history. They are freshman Suzy Carter and junior Hanna Williamson. Another longtime Perrysburg Twirling Sophisticate and Perrysburg resident, now a freshman at St. Ursula, Miranda Van Hoozen will be twirling for St. John's High School. From Eastwood High School, four-year twirler Alexis Abraham is now twirling for her freshman year at Cincinnati University. A former Perrysburg St. Rose and St. Ursula High School student, who was the feature twirler for St. Johns for the last four years, Ashlee Banas is now twirling for the University of Toledo. Two seniors from Maumee High School are Taylor France and Adriane Mckinney. Maggie Burns is a freshman at Anthony Wayne and is now twirling with the Marching Generals. Lisa Giese, a majorette for Findlay High School last year, twirled at Butler University and now will be twirling her sophomore year at Findlay University. The director and adviser is Andrea Whiting, a former Perrysburg High School twirler. |
