PERRYSBURG - Way Library will host its eighth annual Snow Ball Friday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. on the main level of the library.  This free family fun night is for people of all ages.
A "super cool" disc jockey will keep the youngsters dancing while miniature golf, basketball, megablocks, paper airplanes, snowman-stacking, bingo, and other fun activities will be available throughout the evening. A variety of make-and-take crafts are offered, as well.
The enchanting indoor "ice skating" rink will be featured, as well as the crowd-pleasing Great Way Library Snowball Fight.
The event is sponsored by the Andersons, Connext Nation, Edward Jones-Odegaard's, Envirocare Lawn and Landscape, Farmers & Merchants State Bank, Goodremont's Inc., Hilton Garden Inn, Midwest Tape, Ohio CAT, Ohio Snow Pros, and Stanley Steemer.
This year's event will help support the Wood County Humane Society. Participants are invited to donate pet supplies such as non-ultra bleach and liquid laundry detergent (must say 6 percent sodium hypochlorite), antibacterial hand soap, cleaning supplies, clay cat litter (not scoopable), vanilla-flavored Ensure, gas cards, paper towels, kitchen or black lawn trash bags, baby-powder scented air freshener spray, KMR powder kitten formula, heating pads, Pepto-Bismol tablets, chicken or turkey baby food, tuna fish in water, L-Lysine supplement, new or gently used pet toys, or any type of pet food or treats.
No registration is required.
