|Make music, create crafts during 577 Foundation's November programs|

PERRYSBURG - Children's music and art classes are being offered at the 577 Foundation at 577 E. Front St. Pre-registration is required for all classes at www.577foundation.org or (419) 874-4174.
• Partners in Fun is an art class for 3 to 4 year olds with adult. The leader is Carol Jambard-Sweet and the limit is 14 per class. Classes are Tuesdays from 10 to 11 a.m. The fee is $5 per child.
Celebrate Thanksgiving by making a horn of plenty on Tuesday. Tie-dye turkeys are on the agenda for Nov. 12. Talk about the Mayflower and make a Thanksgiving project on Nov. 19. See a turkey dance on Nov. 26.
• A mountain dulcimer program on Nov. 16 from 9 a.m. to noon is for third-graders and older.
The dulcimer for decades has been played by people who live in the Appalachian Region of the US. Learn to play this 3 stringed instrument. Kids will receive their own dulcimer and learn to play at least 10 songs. This workshop is geared toward beginners.
The leader is Joe Zsigray and the class limit is 20. The fee is $47.
• A harmonica workshop for third-graders and older will be Nov. 16 from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m.
Explore how to read harmonica music, to play the instrument and to translate any song into harmonica tablature so you can play it on the harmonica. Receive a harmonica to take home and learn to play at least 10 songs. No prior musical training necessary.
Zsigray is the leader and the class limit is 20. The fee is $26.
• A ukulele workshop for third-graders and older will be Nov. 16 from 3 to 5 p.m.
The Ukulele for decades has been played by people who live in the Pacific Islands. Learn to play this wonderful 4 stringed instrument. Receive a ukulele to take home and learn to play at least seven songs. Participants will learn to strum the instrument properly, tune the ukulele in both standard and open tuning, and learn to read a chord chart. No prior musical training or experience necessary.
Zsigray is the leader and the class limit is 20. The fee is $45.
