Hayes Presidential Center launches new children’s series focusing on Civil War PDF Print E-mail

FREMONT - The Hayes Presidential Center's new children's educational series Second Saturdays R 4 Kids gives participants a chance become Civil War soldiers.
Admission to "Second Saturdays R 4 Kids" is $7.50 for adults and $1 for children.
This includes admission to the Hayes Museum where the special exhibit Buckeye President: Rutherford B. Hayes is on display.
Those who have Hayes Presidential Center "Family-level" or above memberships can attend free.

Other series dates and topics are:
• May 10 - Life in a Civil War Army Camp;
• June 14 - Women in the Civil War;
• July 12 - Ohio's Link to the Underground Railroad;
• Aug. 9 - Civil War Medicine; September 13 - Life in a Civil War Prison; October;
• Nov. 8 - Civil War Elections;
• Dec. 13 - War Ends.
