Public works partnered with the Children’s Place of Wood County District Public Library with a special visit from two “big diggers.” More programming for the summer program “Dig Into Reading” continues Saturday at 2 p.m. with International Mud Day. Attendees should come dressed to get dirty. Readers can also pick up a copy of “Holes,” a Newbery winner by Louis Sachar, at the Children’s Place desk. The “Holes” film will be shown during Monday Morning Movies at 10:30 a.m. On July 8 at 7 p.m., “Holes” will be the monthly “Novel Chit Chats” book discussion for children and adults.
