PEMBERVILLE - Book buddies are needed at the Pemberville, Luckey and Stony Ridge libraries.
Book buddies are students entering grades one through four this fall. Book buddy tutors are students going into grades five through 12.
Buddies and tutors work in once-weekly, two-hour sessions. they read, make their own snacks and do learning projects and activities together.
For buddies, this is an opportunity to keep reading skills strong and have fun.
For tutors, they can make a difference in the life a child and earn volunteer hours.
The program runs for five weeks and begins June 17. The registration deadline is June 7.
Tutors are required to attend a training session. Call (419) 287-4620 for more information.
