Basketball talk, dinner raises funds for BG Parks and Rec PDF Print E-mail

The Youth Sports Fundraiser Dinner will take place at the Bowling Green Community Center on April 20.  
The event will include a dinner, live auction and raffle prizes. The guest speaker is Greg Kelser.  All proceeds benefit Bowling Green Parks and Recreation youth sports.
Tickets are $30. It includes a prime rib or grilled chicken dinner provided by the Whitehouse Inn.
Kelser is a former Michigan State Spartan basketball player and is an analyst for Fox Sports Detroit's coverage of Pistons basketball. Kelser was a member of the Spartans' 1979 National Championship team, defeating Larry Bird and the Indiana State Sycamores.
To purchase tickets, visit or call (419) 354-6223. Registration forms are available at the community center, located at 1245 W. Newton Road. Group seating and sponsored seating options are available. Mail payments to: 1291 Conneaut Ave.  Bowling Green, OH 43402. Make checks payable to: Bowling Green Parks and Recreation Foundation.
The registration deadline is April 5.

The winning photo will be displayed at the Youth Sports Fundraiser Dinner.
