Eastwood, Otsego earn No. 1 seeds in volleyball sectionals

Eastwood and Otsego were No. 1 seeds, and Bowling Green and Lakota earned No. 2 seeds for their respective sectional volleyball tournaments that begin Oct. 20.
Eastwood (18-2) plays in the Division II sectional at Liberty Center High School.
Otsego (16-3) and Lakota (13-4) both play in the Division III sectional at Liberty-Benton High School.
Bowling Green, 15-4 overall, plays in the Division I sectional at Otsego High School.
Following is the sectional information for the Wood County schools:

DIVISION I
At Otsego High School
BG received a first-round bye and plays Anthony Wayne (11-8) or Clay (14-6) in a sectional final Oct. 24 in the second match that day.
Perrysburg (11-8) plays Springfield (12-8) in the first round Oct. 20 at 6:15 p.m.
The winner faces top-seeded Findlay (16-2) at 3 p.m.
The sectional champions advance to the district semifinals Oct. 27 at Liberty-Benton.

DIVISION II
At Liberty Center High School
Eastwood received a first-round bye and plays Wauseon (7-11) or Defiance (6-12) in a sectional final Oct. 24 at 5: 15 p.m.
Napoleon (12-6) is the No. 2 seed.
The sectional champions advance to the district semifinals Oct. 28 at Liberty-Benton.

DIVISION III
At Genoa High School
Northwood (11-6) plays Rossford (3-17) in the first round Oct. 20 at 6:15 p.m.
The winner faces top-seeded Genoa (12-9) in a sectional final Oct. 24 at 3 p.m.
Lake plays Ottawa Hills (4-12) in the first round Oct. 20 in the second match of the night.
The winner faces second-seeded Cardinal Stritch (13-7) in a sectional final Oct. 24 in the second match of the day.
The sectional champions advance to the district semifinals Oct. 28 at Perrysburg High School.

At Liberty Benton High School
Otsego received a first-round bye and will play Elmwood (7-13) or Patrick Henry (9-9) in a sectional final Oct. 24 in the second match of the day.
The Elmwood-PH match is Oct. 20 in the second match of the night.
Lakota received a first-round eye and will play Fostoria (10-10) or Liberty Benton (9-10) in a sectional final Oct. 24 at 3 p.m.
The sectional champions advance to the district semifinals Oct. 28 at Perrysburg High School.

DIVISION IV
At McComb High School
North Baltimore plays Arcadia in the first round Oct. 20 at 6:15 p.m.
The winner faces top-seeded Van Buren in a sectional final Oct. 24 at 3 p.m.
McComb is the No. 2 seed.
The sectional champions advance to the district semifinals Oct. 27 at Kalida High School.
